Commercial Casework was established on May 1, 1976, and was incorporated on August 4th of the same year.
It was founded and is still owned by four brothers from a woodworking family; the Palmers, Ralph, John, Bill, Tom.
In the early years they specialized in retail fixtures, especially for jewelry stores. The banking industry boomed in that same time period and Commercial Casework jumped in to fill the need. For the next five years they built teller counters for banks up and down the state of California.
In the early eighties their focus changed with the market to office tenant improvements. Going from complex custom bank fixtures to complex custom office interior woodwork was an easy transition. With the Bay Area as home to a multitude of corporate headquarters, the need for quality custom woodwork was abundant.
Before long, Commercial Casework had established itself as one of the top custom, commercial woodworkers in the Bay Area. Their customers were all the premier general contractors in the area; the end users, all the premier corporations: IBM, Apple Computer, Oracle, Merrill Lynch, APL, Salomon Smith Barney, Wilson Sonsini, KPMG, etc.
Today, they still specialize in custom, commercial woodwork; and still for the premier companies. Their skill, expertise and reputation for quality, timeliness and customer focus continues to grow.
If you have a high-end, custom project and you want it done right and completed on time AND, you want to feel cared about, call Commercial Casework.
